Just a quick update. I announced this on facebook yesterday and wanted to let all you folks know. I have accepted a new position and will be moving to Grande Prairie at the end of August. I start the new job July 30th. More details this weekend.

Heard a rumbling from someone on Facebook! Hope it is a big step forward for you. Guess this is the reason for checking out Grande Prairie at the beginning of the trip, everything one would want and more!! Yes, I did go back and read what you wrote about the place, now it makes sense about the place offering more!
Have fun at work the next few weeks, as Edith said, it will be crazy!! Hope they have a replacement for you to pick up some of the work already.
I suspect we are not hearing from you as your life is crazy busy between trying to complete your last two weeks of work and pack up your beautiful apartment in order to move. Stay calm, get lots of rest and savour all the last moments.
